FAQ

We are a global online Middle (Grade 6 to Grade 8) and High school (Grade 9 to Grade 12), currently enrolling Grade 6 for 2021 - 2022 Academic Year.

We follow Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) standards recommended by the Texas Education Agency (TEA) in the United States.

Accreditations is a process in which the High School courses are evaluated and officially recognized by a certifying body approved by a State Education agency for the institution which offers the Course.

TexAmerican Academy is currently offering only Middle School Courses, which does not require Accreditations and follows TEKS standards. We will be offering High School courses from School year 2022 - 2023 for which we will seek accreditations from Cognia (formerly, AdvancEd) by Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Council on Accreditation and School Improvement (SACS CASI).

Our classrooms are offered in both Synchronous (Teacher-Led) and Asynchronous (Self-Learn) modes. Our Synchronous classrooms are conducted by a Teacher with pre-scheduled classroom hours where a student can have direct interaction with a Teacher through online video conferencing methods. An asynchronous teaching method allows a student to interact with a high quality instructional design platform through a self e-Learning model. The overall curriculum is designed with a hybrid Teacher-Lead and Self-Learn models.

TexAmerican Academy is a secular institution focused on College and Career Readiness program with STEAM based education for students

Birth certificate, Govt. Id card, Transfer Certificate or Notary affidavit on completion of Grade 5 including previous school records.

The student must have completed 10 years as on July 1st of the current year to enroll in Grade 6.

We recommend five hours for every subject in a week to be dedicated to complete the courses for the academic year.

Students will be called for an one-to-one interview after initial registration. The interview will be a 30 minutes session in which the student's language fluency and basic arithmetic skills will be assessed. This session will also help the student and parents to clarify their questions about TexAmerican Academy.
